Excited about the 2024-2025 School Year!

Our long-term vision is to build a K-12 Classical Christian School serving families in the mid-Willamette Valley. This type of education will provide children with rigorous academic instruction, it will help them navigate the challenges of our current cultural moment, and it will prepare them well for the future. It will be a school focused on discipleship and equipping children. The goal is to cultivate wisdom and virtue through challenging academics and a Christ-centered school culture.

The Word asks us to enter into a purposeful and Christ-centered discipleship relationship with our children. How best do we do that regarding education? Every family must decide which route to take, but we believe Classical Christian Education done well, does not replace that parental duty to educate, but enhances it. It comes alongside families and helps in the spiritual formation and cultivation of their children. This type of education presents a higher academic standard, emphasizes a focus on the soul, and integrates the truth of who God is into every subject. These are values that should be shared between the family and the school. We want our children to be diligent workers as well as virtuous, wise, and thoughtful human beings. The call to this type of education is not one of running away and sheltering our children - it is a call towards something better. It is a call to intentionally equip and prepare future generations to boldly and graciously navigate an increasingly anti-Christian culture with truth and love.

Off to a Great Start!

Coram Deo Academy opened in the Fall of 2022 with a K-1 classroom, serving eight students. The Lord has blessed, and we expanded up to 4th grade for the 2023-24 school year.  This year we have three classrooms for our K-5 students. The school is using the facilities at Emmanuel Bible Church for the time being. Along with two teachers who are focused on core academics, we are blessed with volunteers who are offering music, art, and other opportunities for our students. In our second year we building the foundation for what we believe will be a generational investment in our children and grandchildren.
